To secure equipment procurement and confirm an installation date, full payment is required in advance. Installation dates are confirmed only once payment has been received in cleared funds.
Upon receipt of payment:
a) Required equipment will be ordered and allocated to the client
b) Engineer time will be scheduled
c) Installation will be completed within the agreed timeframe
Payments cover the supply of goods, labour, configuration, logistics, and reservation of engineer availability.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Missed Appointments
If the client cancels an installation within 48 hours of the booked installation date, a £50 cancellation charge will apply.
If the client is not present, access is not provided, or the installation cannot proceed due to client-side reasons at the agreed appointment time, this will be treated as a missed appointment and a £50 call-out charge will apply.
This includes (but is not limited to) situations where the client cancels or the job cannot proceed due to lack of readiness, ongoing building works, landlord access issues, power availability, or network/site readiness.
Where an installation kit and/or equipment has been ordered or allocated, the cost of the installation kit is non-refundable, as it may be purchased specifically for the client’s installation.
A new installation date will only be offered once any outstanding charges have been paid in cleared funds.

Ownership of Equipment
Where hardware has been purchased by the client, ownership transfers to the client upon full payment.

Risk & Responsibility After Delivery / Installation
Once equipment has been delivered and/or installed, the client becomes responsible for its safekeeping, condition, and appropriate use.
Seren Technologies is not responsible for damage, theft, tampering, relocation, misuse, or alteration of equipment after installation has been completed.
If faults occur as a result of any of the above, remedial visits, labour, and replacement equipment will be chargeable at standard rates.

Equipment Tampering & Third-Party Interference
If any equipment installed or configured by Seren Technologies is adjusted, moved, reset, modified, or interfered with by the client or any third party, any resulting support work, reconfiguration, call-outs, or revisit will be chargeable at standard rates.

Payment Disputes / Chargebacks
By proceeding with payment, the client confirms acceptance of these terms and acknowledges that:
• Equipment may be ordered specifically for their installation
• Engineer time is reserved in advance
• Goods and services are provided as agreed upon delivery and/or installation
Any attempt to reverse or dispute legitimate payments for delivered equipment or completed labour may be formally challenged, including recovery of associated costs where applicable.

Starlink Subscription & Billing Notice (Managed Service)
Seren Technologies provides a managed Starlink internet service, including subscription setup, administration, and billing.
Under this arrangement:
• The Starlink subscription is managed by Seren Technologies
• The client is billed directly by Seren Technologies
• Services are monthly rolling unless otherwise stated in writing
While Seren Technologies manages billing and support, the underlying connectivity is delivered via the Starlink network.

Service Performance & Third-Party Network Notice
Performance, availability, speeds, latency, outages, congestion, and network changes are governed by the Starlink network and remain outside the direct control of Seren Technologies.
Seren Technologies cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or minimum speeds, but will always provide reasonable assistance where issues arise.
